Instructions weren't real clear. Have to have more computer knowledge than I do, but if you're good at coding and troubleshooting, im sure you'll be fine.
I mainly cut MDF and softwood, and it handles both with precision. For beginners who want to get hands-on experience, this machine is a solid choice.
This CNC feels premium for the price. When I had an issue with the Z-axis limit switch, the support team sent me a replacement part immediately. After tuning it a bit, it now cuts cleanly through plywood and plastic. I couldn’t be happier with the results.
Love this little CNC machine! It's got great power with it's 500watt motor. I mostly have been working with wood but I know the machine is capable of doing aluminum engravings as well...I just haven't done that yet. Putting the machine together was not too bad, just go slowly and watch some videos online to help if needed. The hardest part was just plugging in the wires to where they belong on the board and that wasn't bad at all. It's a lot of fun and after watching some starter vids on how to engrave, you'll be carving in no time. Definite 5 stars from me - I'm really enjoying this CNC - you get a lot of machine here for your spend!
I’ve been running this CNC for a few months now, and it’s been a fantastic learning tool. The setup was straightforward, and it runs smoothly with Easel. The frame feels solid, and I’m impressed with the accuracy when engraving hardwood and acrylic. I did upgrade the spindle for more power, but even the stock one did a decent job for light projects. Great value for anyone starting in CNC work!
